Our Gites are situated in the peaceful rural village of Champagné les Marais where you will find a small selection of shops and amenities all within a few minutes walk. The Cottages which are renovated to a high standard from an ancient barn have original high ceilings with exposed beams and stone walls. They are comfortably furnished, bright and clean, with modern kitchens and decoration . From the lounge, french doors lead you on to a large communal lawned garden ( for guests use ) which is bordered by fruit trees ( cherry, apple, prune , plum, apricot ) Each cottage has it's own small private patio with garden furniture, table & chairs, lounger, hammock and BBQ. We are in the South West Vendée in the beautiful National Park 'Marais Potevin' which is an area rich in history and culture. The weather is good from April to September and can be good in October. We have about 2400 hours of sunshine a year. Sostiene un mini-clima simile a quello del Sud della Francia.
